Durham photography studio reopens as Lockdown restrictions ease during Covid 19 Pandemic

Photography for little people by Melanie. Newborn photography and Family photo shoots across County Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle

Like many small business’, I am now able to reopen my studio as restrictions ease with Lockdown. I have missed so many parts of what I do. Welcoming you into the studio, creating images and impressions that will live with you forever. The feeling when you fall in love with every image.

I have specialised in newborn photography for 16 years now and every shoot is unique. Every shoot still makes me smile and I love every minute.

My studio is my passion and I love every minute with my clients. Following government guidelines, I choose to go above and beyond their recommendations and wear full PPE to do everything I can to create a safe environment for these precious new babies born during this difficult time. This worked very well following previous Lockdowns and I was delighted when clients felt safe and was able to enjoy their time in the studio with their new babies.

The studio is a clean and safe environment, it always has been. I have taken advise and have added “fogging” to our deep cleaning practise. As a business owner I have a duty of care to you, my families, to keep you as safe as possible from contracting Coronavirus.

Many families book their newborn shoots following their scan as spaces are limited and I am currently taking bookings for baby’s due in October 2021. Please do not wait until baby arrives as I hate to turn anyone away.

“After the last four months in lockdown it was a breath of fresh air to be in the studio with Melanie and have our baby boys photos taken. She was extremely professional and her work space felt so safe. She made myself and my mam feel at ease. Talking as if she was a friend that we have known for years. She is great at what she does and really goes above an beyond. Overall, great experience and an amazing first outing of 2021 !”
