A beautiful wall of memories – from newborn baby to 1 year old

Photography for little people by Simona. Newborn photography and 1st birthday baby photo shoots across London East and Essex.

I first met Aria when she was only couple of weeks new. As my studio is mobile I visited Aria at home in east London, which made it so much easier for her mummy and daddy. Especially that she decided to surprise everyone early. I set up the studio in the living room and we had a lovely morning creating memories for Aria and her family to commemorate this special time in their life.

I loved helping Aria’s family design the perfect fine art piece for their home. They chose a 9 image custom framed piece in a solid oak wood finish which perfectly complements their home décor. Then it comes the delivery day… Oh, delivery days are the best days! Not only that I get extra baby cuddles, I also get to witness that special reaction as you unwrap and see your beautiful piece of art for the very first time. PRICELESS! It is always so emotional.

Mummy’s thoughts: “The newborn session itself was relaxed and professional. Simona was amazing with Aria and took her time and great care with her. At no point did the session feel rushed. Simona is friendly, considerate and genuine. The sessions are very natural so much so that we asked Simona back for another session. The cake smash session was just as much fun as the first. The pictures came out amazing both times.
Simona’s service is faultless from start to finish. She adds so many personal touches it’s way more than we expected. We cannot recommend Simona enough.
Thank you Simona. X”

Fast forward one year later, I was so excited to be invited again in Aria’s home to celebrate her very special 1st birthday with a cake smash photo shoot. OH my, we did have so much fun! Aria was a superstar and absolutely loved her cake.. DELICIOUS!

We carefully selected the images from Aria’s cake smash photography session that mummy and daddy wanted to add-on to Aria’s beautiful wall of memories. We framed those in a solid oak wood to perfectly match the framed piece from her newborn photography session.

It is fascinating seeing how much Aria has grown in just one year! The thing I love the most about what I do is seeing those special memories we create for your family beautifully displayed on the walls in your home.

“Displaying photos prominently in the home sends the message that our family and those in it are important to one another, and we honor the memories we have experienced,“ Cathy Lander-Goldberg a licensed clinical social worker and a professional photographer and director of Photo Explorations.
